Hi, I'm Rosie!
I'm a birth doula trained by DONA International, a leading organization in doula education and certification. For my postpartum training, I worked with Birth and Baby University, a doula education and certification organization based in Chicago. I am BLS Certified by The American Heart Association. I am a registered provider with MassHealth. I’m based in Boston.
Raised by a professional advocate, I’ve always used my voice to support others. Through my mom’s work, I was immersed early in the world of fertility and reproductive health care, and have long been aware of the many choices people face around birth and family-building.
In 2016, I had the profound honor of supporting my sister during the birth of her child, which sparked in me a deep desire to help birthing individuals on a broader scale. I worked as preschool teacher for several years, including during the challenging COVID-19 period, and further developed my skills caring for and nurturing children and their families.
As a member of the polyamorous and queer communities, I’ve seen firsthand how much more support and advocacy is needed to ensure affirming, informed, and empowering birthing experiences for everyone.
I’m child-free by choice, and feel deeply honored to help bring children into the world through my work as a birth doula. Supporting others in their birth journeys is a privilege I hold with great care.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my favorite humans and animals, and being in water! I look forward to continuing to grow in my work so I can best support families, wherever their journey leads.
